Check which track is playing
The player shows the name of the current track and playback controls. The soundtrack changes songs as you use the game. When you enter a match, the music stops; when you pause, it may resume according to your preferences.
This difference is intentional: music in menus and while paused, match effects during play. The coin toss has its own sound presentation.
Music and game volume
Use the player controls to adjust the soundtrack volume or mute it. In Settings → Game, the Game sound section controls the overall volume. The mute option covers the crowd, match sounds, menus and music.
If you want to hear the crowd without music in the menus, mute only the music. To play with no sound at all, use the overall control. Start at a comfortable volume and adjust while listening to the result.
Why sound may take a moment to start
Browsers may require an interaction before allowing audio. Click a game option or press a control and check again. Also check your device's volume, whether the tab is muted and the preferences saved in the game.
Tracks load when needed. A slow connection may delay the start of a song, and offline mode does not guarantee access to the whole soundtrack.
Menu and match sounds
Navigation has selection, confirmation and back effects. On the pitch, sounds help distinguish contact with the ball and events in the match. If you are testing a new controller, visual feedback remains available even with the audio muted.
