Let the browser recognise the device
Connect the controller and open FutpixelTV. Click the page and press a physical button so the browser makes the device available to the game. Open Settings → Controller and check which device appears as connected.
If the computer shows the original controller and a virtual controller at the same time, select the device that actually receives your inputs. Use the live test to check buttons, triggers and sticks before starting a match.
Map one action at a time
- In the action list, choose Map next to the command you want to change.
- Release every button and let the sticks return to the centre.
- Press the physical button that should perform that action.
- Check the saved mapping and test the result.
During capture, controller buttons are read as mapping inputs. To stop, press Esc on the keyboard or click Cancel. Avoid pressing several buttons together, as this makes it harder to identify which input was recorded.
Wii U Pro with WiinUSoft
Choose the Wii U Pro illustration to see your model. Click a button in the illustration and press the real button when prompted to teach the game its position. The virtual controller still sends Xbox codes; the illustration connects those codes to your physical controller.
Do not copy the positions of A, B, X and Y from another model without testing them. The virtual device's name alone does not tell you how the converter has arranged every button.
If something is still wrong
Open the live test and see whether a button stays pressed when you are not touching it. Also check that the stick returns to the centre. Reconnect the device and confirm your selection if it disappears. Preferences stay in this browser; another computer or browser profile may need its own setup.
Open FutpixelTV and put this guide into practice.
